Sugar 44 is a beautiful establishment right outside of Tempe, and on the outskirts of Phoenix. The parking lot is relatively small, but you could always park across the street at the Target shopping center and walk. When I entered, it was around 2 PM-ish, so there was no cover, which was nice. If you ever go at night, just go to their website and print out a coupon to save $10.

When I entered, I was able to sit down along the walls and just relax. A waitress came and took my order. There's a two drink minimum. Bottles of water are $5. It's a rip-off, obviously, but they gotta make their money somewhere, I suppose. They'll hassle you for your first drink, but they've never bothered me for a second drink. I had some girls approach me, and ask if I wanted a dance. Floor dances are $10, but if you pay $20 for a wristband, you can go to the VIP area, and pay $20 a dance there. It sounds ridiculous to pay me, but you do MUCH more in the VIP section, opposed to the floor dances.

I got two different girls to give me a floor dance that day. They were both attractive, but one was a lot more okay with being touched than the other. One girl preferred that I kept my hands to myself. I did just that, as I wanted to be respectful, but I was definitely not going to ask her for another dance. The second girl was a lot more into the lap dance, and a lot more cool with being caressed. Needless to say, YMMV. In the end, it comes down to the girl, but security will intervene if they feel that you're being a little too handsy. That's why I feel the VIP section is worth it. You're obviously paying more, but if it's the right girl, the quality of the dance sky rockets.
