First Timer - Review of Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club • Calle Coahuila 2009 Zona Nte., Tijuana, B.C. Mexico

Was in San Diego for business and ended up with an afternoon off and decided to make the plunge and go to Hong Kong for the first time after hearing about it for years. Entry was easier than expected as just took an Uber to the border and they did not even stamp my passport. Taxis were right there and next thing you know was there in less than 10 minutes. Upon entering I wanted to take my time and check it all out being first timer. I avoided the waiters and for the most part did not feel too much pressure from them. Sat at far end bar on first level and watched the soap show with 2 girls - interesting to say the least! Drank some inexpensive beers that believe were $5 or less but did not really check that closely. I found that the average girls continued to come over frequently and offer a dance/drink or to head up to hotel, but the ones I had my eye on that were 8+ never seemed to come over. It was interesting a number commented on my being married, so wondering if wedding ring in the culture is a turn off to some.? One that was close to 8+ did come over and hang out for awhile, but she insisted on $100k and I held firmly to $80. To my surprise she just walked away and did not come back. First time mistake and should just have anti’d up the extra $20 (versus US still a bargain!). As I continued to watch it became apparent the waiters seemed to have connections with the hottest girls and next time will probably go that route. In the end found a solid 7 and we agreed on terms. Overall left satisfied, but not necessarily wowed. Jumped on the club shuttle and actually felt safer than I had in the cab coming over (would take that both ways next time). Will return again, but after some lessons learned.
