I spotted Bar Casino while driving through Alma. The strip club is on the west side of 169 in front of Motel Rustik and just north of a sex shop called Folisexe. There is a front door and back door that can both be used to enter the strip club. I visited at 15:15 on a Wednesday. This all-nude strip club is mainly a hangout for locals who like to drink. From 11:00 to 19:00 everyday, bottles of beer are two for $10 (except Corona). The bartender will leave the second beer in the refrigerator until you finish the first one. After 19:00, a bottle of beer goes up to $7.50.

Entering from the front, there is an island bar straight ahead. On the right wall is a stage with two poles and a small runway coming off into the seating area. There is a chair in the shape of a stiletto on the stage. The left wall has two VIP rooms and the private dance booths. The private dance booths are just benches partitioned by dividers offering some privacy as long as no one is walking by to the washroom. The two VIP rooms are known as Le Salon Bleu and Le Salon Rose. The Bleu room seems to offer more privacy than the Rose room. Not a single dancer took the stage during the entirety of my visit. In Quebec, this is usually a good indicator of a club being an extras club. There are five video slot machines along the walls, hence the name of this establishment: Bar Casino. The bartender was a friendly, young Métis lady who also doubled as the DJ. She played a lot of electronic dance music.

The dancers all seemed to travel from Montreal to work at Bar Casino. It is rare to find local dancers working here because it is a small town and people talk. Dancers live in apartments on the second floor of Bar Casino when they are in town working. I think the minimum term to work is a week. When I visited on a Wednesday afternoon, there were three dancers on the shift. Two were Dominican, and one was a brunette Québecoise. The two Dominicans were probably 36-40 years old and looked past their expiration date. The Caucasian brunette was much better-looking. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to get private dances with her, but she was locked down with regulars the whole ninety minutes or so I was in attendance. Private dances are $15 per song and contact is two-way with the dancer being nude.
