After Hours on a Saturday

On a Saturday after DJing at a club that closed at 2, I was not ready to go home so I decided to stop into this downtown Rhino. After paying the cover I went in and to the right is a low stage with seats around, and vip curtains in the back. To the left is the DJ booth and bar. I felt like it was pretty small - from the outside it looks bigger. Maybe it was because of after hours or because I was nervous but it felt a bit crammed.

I checked out the room and it was packed! There were lots of guys and dancers working the floor and stage, and the energy was pretty lit. But not totally make it rain vibes. Barely anywhere to sit, I got a drink and just hung out by the bar and watched the dancers until I saw one I wanted to tip. After a moment I got more comfortable and saw a real fine young brunette dancer with sort of bob haircut who I went and tipped a lot. I tried to signal to get a private dance after but unfortunately after that I think she left for the night.

The stage show was pretty standard, not a lot of pole tricks. The stage is very low, and I felt like the room was pretty bright actually. Lots of visibility of the dancers and close and personal dances when they would come close.. I like there to be more of a vibe with low lighting and colored stage lights. This club feels a bit too corporate with the decor and branding. Thats what I would expect from Rhino I guess.

The girls were sexy, fit, and with some variety. At that hour they all seemed very busy hustling and booked quickly for dances. Not a lot of girls coming up to chat me, but I had a chat with a cute brown skin girl who I talked with a bit small talk and breaking down prices. I wasn't quite feeling it for a dance. This time nobody seemed worth going for but I spent my time there til closing hanging and tipping the stage. Things I look for in the entertainment is sexy dancing with pole shows, nice vibe, great music, and dance specials. Overall the club was cool for a late spot, and one girl stood out to me, but honestly on another night I think I will check another club downtown like Sams or Deja Vu? Or make the trip to Industry or the valley. Because I went so late I didn't get the full experience or any private dances to report, and I forgot my favorite dancers name, I would go back for her.
