Different from the downtown experience

It’s been some time since I’ve visited the Lamplighter and I decided to stop in. As has been mentioned by others, there has been an influx of former BJs girls as well as customers so it was a bit busier than I’ve seen it in the afternoon in the past. Still, it wasn’t extremely so.

There is no cover at the Lamp in the afternoon and parking is free in the lot of the strip mall where it is located. They ID and check for metal these days, in case you haven’t been here the last few years. There is a full bar to the right when you walk in. I think my beer was $5.75.

They open at 2pm and had four girls on shift. The dancers were white on first shift this time but generally the Lamp has the most variation in ethnicity of any club I frequent. They add about a half dozen girls at 4pm to join the first group. Then at 8 the night shift starts. The dancers on shift were in the 6-8 range this visit as far as looks.
