First time visit

First time visitor to Mynx in Groton. I arrived on Saturday night about 8pm. There was a $10 cover. A Budweiser was $5.75. Dances in the Lap Dance area were $25/song - the house gets some percentage of the dance price. VIP was $150 - $50 to the house and $100 to the dancer. The VIP area was closed off by a large curtain that you can only see one-way through - out and not in. I was told that there are no "extras" here.

As you enter there is a long bar to the right the runs pretty much the length of the club. A small stage is directly in front of you and a large screen was blocking off what I believe is another stage that gets opened when it gets crowded. This night there seemed to be about 7 or 8 dancers and maybe a down customers. The dancer talent level was pretty weak - most of the girls were in the 5-6 range and a bit weighty, a couple with lots of tats. Just as I was getting ready to leave, I was approached by and struck up a long conversation with a very tall, and kind of thin, AA dancer named Giselle, who was very attractive and personable. Went to the VIP with Giselle, who was very accommodating within the confines of no extras.

In hindsight, my suggestion would be skip the VIP area and instead just get 3 or 4 dances in the Lap Dance area, who will save yourself some $$ and the experience should be about the same.
