La Yegua (the mare) was just blah; gringo tax
So i got back from Querétaro. Have to say that it was pretty dead from a mongering perspective.
The place i went on my 2020 trip has closed its doors. Not sure if permanent or temporary, but there was a shooting outside the club:

so i went to another spot recommended by uber driver:

It sucked. Only 10-12 chicas due to covid protocol, according to Azul (chica).
we bought a bottle and scoped out the scene. Nobody dancing on stage. The space is a rectangle. Bar to the right. A few people working behind bar, including the “madrina” (mamasan). She took care of the money transactions and exchanged for tickets, from what i observed. About 3-4 bartenders. 6-8 meseros. Elevated stage was dead center. Maybe 4-5’ tall. It was empty most of the time.
All girls were entertaining other customers. Then mesero brings over 4 girls, one for each of us. I pass on mine cuz i saw a stunner. The guys get the girls drinks - 200 pesos (aprox. $10). One liked her chica, went for a privado (dance in a small room) - 200 pesos; +/- $10.
One of my boys asked WTF. He tried to put a 20 peso in her bra. She pulled away! I asked what the deal? She said its not allowed. WTF?!?! They have cameras, so only “touching” is in privado or arriba.
i asked if any dancers come out on stage and if we can tip dancers. depends on the girl and if she is busy. In the 2 hours we were there, we saw 3 girls hit the stage.
so we drank and bs among us. Then we all stop to admire a beauty! Tall, STACKED, guera but of course, she goes straight to her table with her custie. The girl i want gets up, WOW! Curvy, 5’6”, taller in puta heels and amazing bottle shape. She goes to the bar (farthest from our table). Talks to the cashier girl then goes to the door to the back (opposite of main entry). I follow her discreetly, but she has a guy. They met at door. They going arriba.
another girl came, by bud asked her for a dance and off they went. She pressed hard on the arriba. Told him, $4000 pesos - $200usd. I almost spit out my drink!
then the mesero came, said we didn’t pay for the lady drinks! Get outta here, he even gave them a ticket. But my boy looks at me and says, gringo tax. So he got $20 more. Asswipe!
I see my girl come back, she’s headed to a table. I wave her over. She nods and here she come. Butterface but what a body! 5 face, 8 body (-1 for faje tits). She has a lady drink, $10. But she pointed to our bottle, she got 2 fichas from MY bottle...still $10 each! Kinda messed up.
anyway, arriba was negotiated from 3500 to 2500, aprox. $125 with room and cover included, 40 min. The girls rent their own room, clean it, etc. she has a corner room, cuz according to her she is vocal. That she was!
anyway done and back to the guys. We chilled a bit and got the hell outta there. Remember that these places need an “exit” ticket. You give this ticket to gate security. Like an all clear pass.

I did go on a weekday, Tuesday or Wednesday. It sucked. Prices seemed high for deep Mexico cuz a couple of girls started in the 3,500-4k pesos range. The previos spot was closed due to a shooting outside the club. But that place was a bit more fun and i went alone. Return to Yegua? Maybe, if I ever make it back, i’d like to see it after covid is behind us.
