Fun, but pricey second visit to the club from 'Girls Girls Girls'
My first visit to Tattletale was in December 2016 when I was in Atlanta on business. I did not leave with the best experience that time, but attributed that more to the dancer than the establishment. I still had a "free admission" card, so here I was back on a Monday night in January 2020...
As most everyone knows, the club has changed. As far as the layout, no drastic changes - the bar is still off to the left and the stage off to the right. Some renovations have been done and the place definitely has a cleaner, newer look. As an out-of-towner, I was unaware of the smoking/vaping ban until I saw the signage. While I don't mind not having to smell like an ashtray, I was disappointed I couldn't hit my vape.
When I walked in, I was surprised to see the place was a lot livelier - on a Monday night - than the Thursday night I visited before. I should have known though something was going on in Atlanta since I couldn't book a hotel anywhere near the concert venue (State Farm Arena). This Monday night crowd looked like work conference/convention goers. A lot of guys in business casual attire who were spending money with no hesitation. So, it wasn't my best choice to wear a non-collared shirt and golf pants. I didn't dress like a big-spender and I wasn't visibly intoxicated, so I understandably wasn't exactly a dancer magnet.
