Tara’s is Gone with the Wind

Tara’s is not operating. The sign on the building @ 1400 Northside Dr. indicates it is a “duel” club co-located with Swinging Richards. I was willing to take one for the team.

I arrived around 3pm and went to the entry. The door was unlocked but there wasn’t anyone at the check in desk...first bad sign.. All the lights were on but there was no music and no customers or dancers in the place. Around the corner and to the right was a bar and the one employee in the building.

He explained that they weren’t open and that they weren’t likely to be anytime soon, maybe he said, in the Spring when the girls come back to town. Apparently their first run at operations as a duel club had failed....lack of dancers. I may be wrong but I think the manager name and contact info listed is the same guy who tried to open another club a year or two back , I think off Cheshire Bridge...I can’t remember the name. It failed due to lack of dancers.
