Southeast Asian Games (Part II)

The Philippines hosted the SEA Games in late Nov/early Dec 2019. This review of Lollipop is a composite review from early November through the first days of December which I am submitting because no one has reviewed it for seven years. It is a follow on to my review of La Bamba (Southeast Asian Games Part I) which includes information on “Walking Street”, “currency” and “Bar Fines” all of which I will fore go here to keep this somewhat short but if you’re interested just read the La Bamba review.

The club is located near the intersection of Walking Street and Santos. Start at Kokomos (a landmark restaurant/hotel/club) and cross Santos, walk past Rhapsody on the corner and continue past La Bamba next door and you’ve arrived at Lollipop. They open at about 6 PM and there will be door girls sitting outside.

Inside you’ll find a large room which is quite dark. The ceiling and all the walls are covered in a black fabric. Lighting is good enough to see well and the stage is well light but the atmosphere is decidedly edgy night-club like. The large stage in the center of the room is elevated about four feet above the floor and surrounded by chairs. There is bench seating along the front and side walls, the bar is on the back wall and the CR is in the far right hand back corner. FYI in case you have a shy bladder, fore-warned is fore-armed, the CR in this club is a unisex little-boys/little-girls room so plan accordingly. There are no short-time rooms in the club.
