It Has To Be Better Than This

I made a trip to Treasure Club in Hickory recently since I was in the area. On this particular day there wasn't much to write home (or on TUSCL) about.

Parking is free and plentiful, at least during the day. I had to renew my $1 membership and they also ask to see your license at the door. No cover required. Upon entering the bar is directly in front of you, and fortunately they have a good selection of craft beers at $4.50 and daily drink specials. The drinks here are cheaper than at most restaurants if that's your thing.

The stage area is pretty large and to the right as you enter. No one was on stage when I got there and all the customers (6 to 8) were at the bar. Finally a dancer shows up to do her 3 song set. As soon as she starts I saw a few hands go into pockets to pull the elusive $1 to tip her. She was young, cute, a petite spinner. As it turns out she was the only dancer there. Once she finished she disappeared for about 15-20 minutes so it was just the guys at the bar again. Oh the bartender was cute, sexy, and friendly so there was that. The dancer finally made her way over to the bar, ignoring the guys who tipped her and went up to a young guy who just came in and left the bar area to sit with him.
