A New Year. Not really impressed.

Twas a Thursday night at 11 pm when we decided to go drinking at the always friendly Loco.

The club has not changed and the layout is still the same. Upon walking in past security, the grimey mens and womens washrooms are on the left. Just past the washrooms, on the left, is a room with a pool table (that I never see used) and on the right are steps up to the bar with seats facing the wide stage. As you proceed further, the majority of the seating is in an open space between the bar and stage and the grimey VIPs are to the right and left of the seating area. There are two poles on stage that are connected by a horizontal bar above that is never used.

The thug level was minimal on this night and the PLs that got dances were older men that seemed like regulars. However, on the weekends, guys of all ages and types show up, and it gets so packed that you may not get a dancers attention in time before she is scooped up. The music level was just right, not loud, but loud enough to feel the bass.
