Nothing Special

I stopped into Sonny's on a recent Friday night. Not much ever really changes with this place. I arrived around 11 pm. They did an ID check, but no ID scan this time, also no wand or pat down. Cover charge was $10. It was pretty busy, no seating available at the bar, but there were scattered seats open on the main floor. Crowd was mostly blue collar types, some couples too. Paid $6 for a bottle of Bud Light. Waitstaff was plentiful. One stage, but it's pretty big and when it's busy they have 2 girls dancing on it at a time.

Speaking of the girls, there were probably around 20 or so working, I'd rate most in the 5-8 range in the looks department with most sitting around the 6-7 range, but I was also pleasantly surprise with the number of curvy yet toned girls roaming about, that's a lethal combination. It was a good mix of girls too, mostly white, but several AA girls, several latinas and an asian or two. Lots of tats and piercings too. Most are pretty chill and will sit and talk with you for a bit.

Dances prices haven't changed, they still suck. $10 at your table, I saw very few of those happening. $20 in the booths along the the front wall, they offer very little contact or privacy. Neither of those options offer much ROI. $110 ($10 for the club, $100 for the girl) for 15 minutes in the curtained off VIP area, that generally gets you 4 dances, YMMV, I've had some good times back there, some not so good. Nothing outrageous though, 2 way contact, some stick shifting, can touch pretty much anywhere but the vajayjay. The $110 is still paid up front too, so you are stuck once you commit if the dances suck. They also have a few other VIP rooms that I believe run $250 for 30 minutes or $400 for an hour (not sure on those prices anymore though). They could probably make more money if they re-thought their pricing strategy, but strip club operators are not always the sharpest tools in the shed are they?
