Weekdays in Upland

Weekday afternoon visit to Upland for some deserved R&R. Had a pass from prior VIP dancing, so got free admission (normally $10 day admission, I believe), bought the $10 drink. Only 6 girls on-site when I arrived, and oddly all had names beginning with a "J" sound: Joey, Jasmine, Jade, Gina, and a couple others. 90% veterans that have been there for years, but I've been going for years, and they were exactly what I was looking for after a relatively celibate holiday break.

Zero other customers when I went in, one or two dribbled in over an hour but it seemed very slow for TL. The girls were just lazing around but when a second customer showed up they started going on stage and dancing. Songs seemed relatively long this time, maybe since it was slow. Some people don't like that TL VIP dances are 3-song rather than on a timer, but I have never found them to be inadequately short (like Imperial or TJ's in OC). And sometimes when they are playing long songs (like today), you win out.

Physically the club is unchanged since maybe 2004. Small stage with pole and perimeter seats; booths along walls and a few tables with chairs. Dark as night inside, but your eyes get used to it. Music loud but not deafening; stage lights fairly subdued but still allow good views. Bathroom pretty clean this time. Waitresses push for lady's drinks, but not too hard. Girls all knew me and I sat on stage so mostly just fly-by's until I was ready for dances.
