Getting happy during DTC happy hour

This is a combined review of two Friday happy hour visits within the past month or so. There's never a cover and in fact, no greeter upon entry during the day. Just head in and find a seat.

I've been intrigued by social media posts by Downtown Cabaret about discounted VIP rates from open until 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. Over optimistically, I hoped they'd be somewhere along the same percentage discount with the half-price drinks served daily during happy hour.

Turns out it's just a $25 discount from the regular $450 (1 hour) and $275 (half hour) rates for the VIP rooms. So I passed.
