I flew into Newark about three weeks ago. Landed around 3:30 pm. Picked up rental car and headed to Irvington. I had never to this area before but knew that it would be low end. It was.
Vic's and a couple of other popular places were closed so I hit up Bottoms Up, Paradizio and then on to Clancy's. I was in Bottoms Up long enough for two beers and handsy bar side dance. No cover charge. The beer was $6 I believe. Bar side dance from a girl that is way bigger and less attractive than I'd generally accept. It was my first stop so I wasn't feeling too choosy. The bartender was kinda cute but the dancers were not. There must be some cute ones there sometimes, I just didn't see any.
Parking lot was bumpy and some broken glass but better than street parking I guess. Bathroom wasn't great but I've seen worse. I'd say more but there's just not much more to share.
