New Year Week in Tijuana

I visited Tijuana for New Year's week. It was great fun to see Adelitas, Hong Kong and La Gloria bar girls bring in the New Year. Adelitas was very slow morning after New Year, Hong Kong was busy as usual so I gave La Gloria a try for mid afternoon visit. As mentioned in other reviews the bar is step down from the top places on Coahuila. If you start your visit from Hong Kong to Adelitas to La Gloria that seems how BG arriba pricing seems to work,in my opinion. Because I found La Gloria to be excellent value for arriba. After entering La Gloria I saw eight or nine ladies. Three of them sitting in the horseshoe waiting on cumbia dancing partners. Believe it's one dollar per dance. I invited over the best looking BG to sit with me at the bar. The pricing for drinks are posted in English . Lady drinks $8 dollars, water or soda $3.50 and Heineken $2.50. Beer is less expensive than water. Of course I ordered whiskey $6 and lady drink for Karin from Pueblo. She is a beautiful looking morena with brown hair, tinges of blonde highlights and firm body. She would fit right in to the early morning shift at Adelitas . In Spanish I cut to the chase to ask her for media hora session. She quoted $30 dollars for half hour. Bingo. Let's go now. We went next door to hotel Garcia. We walk up the front stairs. The reception guy charged me $14 dollars plus $1 dollar for the robe.

Side question to TJ veterans. Why does hotel Garcia charge $14 for La Gloria BG but only charge $5 for bringing paraditas. It's the same room. Seems like different pricing for type of lady or for gringo me? After paying we go off to the room for an enjoyable session. She does everything asked plus even more. This is Tijuana after all. Fantastic time so I extend our time to a second session. One full hour $60 dollars. Excellent value in my book. We exchanged WhatsApp connection to text each other for future visits. Unlike Hotel Cascadas or Coahuila the reception guy was too tired or too busy to knock when 30 min session is up. I was there on five separate visits never once had knock. Others may have different experience since this was the day after new years.

I returned to La Gloria to grab a drink and restore my energy. In the back tables of the room was a mature, older blonde, not skinny not fat, curvy. We spoke in Spanish. I think her name was Luisa or Elisa. I cannot follow the.language so easy when it's rapidly spoken. We order a lady drink and I immediately ask for a half hour session. She says $40 dollars. I counter with $30. She accepts and off we go to hotel Garcia but through the very high back staircase. My legs are getting a full work out. Hotels Garcia, Coahuila, Jaslo, Cascadas all seem to have a ton of.stairs up to their rooms. We go to the reception to pay $14 dollars. This time gave $1 to robe guy. She wants her money upfront. However, I negotiate with Luisa to leave the money in plain sight. Usually under her drink or sometimes use her stripper shoe on a table to hold the money. This confirms I have $ In a place where she can see. This technique works well for me . I read about it somewhere on the TJ group discussion forum. With that we are off to the races. She does everything you want to do in Tijuana. I again extend session to full hour and place another $30 dollars under her stripper shoe. We lost track of time, there was never a knock, it was relaxed, unhurried session. La Gloria bar girls can be a nice economic value. In my mind the poor value was $14 for hotel per session. If i got a room all night reception guy said he would still charge me same chica fee. $5 paraditas $14 Gloria bar. I already paid room $45 nite at Coahuila. Normally they have $20 special rate. This week was new year’s so more than doubled the room price. In my experience La Gloria is good place for me after checking out Hong Kong, Adelitas and Chicago early afternoon lineup.

side note: I did bring a paradita to my room in Hotel Coahulia . It was freezing cold on Monday she was glad to be in a warm room. two Adelitas BG met me there on their day off.very nice GFE experience with favorable pricing. see if I can get La Gloria on her day off. I do not use ATMs in Tijuana. I go early 0730am across the border when there is no line. Use my bank ATM for no fee and return within 30-40min. When I stay for couple of nights in Tijuana well worth buying stuff at xoxo, water, soap, etc for your room.

I found La Gloria to be worth the value for me.
