It didn't smell like bleach this time.

After the least interesting visit to Oasis that I've ever had, I headed down the road. There were a surprising number of cars in the parking lot. The place is essential a booth girl establishment, of which there used to be several in Philly. This and Dream Boutique are the last in the city.

The inside had been reconfigured since my last visit a couple years ago. The area with the talent now has a separate entrance from the adult book/video store. I went in. There was an older white guy talking with a couple of black guys. The black guys exited when I came in and the white guy asked if I'd been there before. I said I had a couple years back. He said there was only one girl working and he said she'd tell me all about it. She was a taller African American woman, trim with proportionately trim boobs, fairly attractive, IMHO. Probably mid-20s. She led me into her room (about the size of a walk in closet.) She ran down her options, which started at $40 and ran up to $200. Most of the options involved me scratching my back. But at $150 she would scratch my back. There was really no suggestion that there was more to do than back scratching. I'd guess repeat visits would yield better results. But I wasn't feeling it and so gave her a few dollars to prove I'm not a complete asshole (a partial asshole, surely) and headed on my way.

For this type of entertainment, Carnival Books over in Brooklawn, NJ is a more interesting and better experience. Near the location here, Purple Orchid is probably a better place to go sight seeing.
