For something different

I was in Tijuana for a couple of days and spent my time mostly at Hong Kong , but tried Las Chavelas several times during the afternoons

Like Hong Kong there is a front and back entrance which lets you out on either the front or back side of the block . It is distinguished by a dance floor and a section for a live band having said that I never saw any musicians but this likely was the related to the time of day . What was striking were the lack of girls no more than 15 to 20 max in the afternoon and they seemed bored immersed with their cell phones and barely glanced up. Lots of booths throughout the club , few customers , rarely a couple dancing.

The girls were nothing to write home about , a notch below Adelitas and certainly below Hong Kong but the usual services appeared to be available . Beers were cheaper than Hong Kong most customers appeared to be locals rather than from the US but if u like live music and dancing this might be a fun place and different than what most clubs in the area offer . Likely hits it’s stride later in the day I would guess .
