Tale of Two Christmas Parties

I've been coming to DTW for years but surprisingly have never been to Landing Strip before now (many times at Bogarts, Flight Club, Penthouse -- when it was good, Cricket and H8).

I was in Detroit for several days and just happened to go to Bogart's for their Christmas Party on a Wednesday (12/18). It was not good. I couldn't find anyone that was more appealing than sitting in my hotel watching Married With Children reruns. I left with all my bj cash safely tucked away.

On my way out of town, checked out Landing Strip for the fist time on a Friday afternoon (12/20). By chance, this was the Landing Strip Christmas party. What a difference. Had to pay for the Valet, but there was no cover (maybe this was because it was lunch time or because it was the Christmas party).
