This was my second visit to DD and first nighttime visit. The club is located on a busy road in your standard south Florida pseudo-industrial park neighborhood. They have a large parking lot which was actually pretty full on the night I was there. Parking is $2 and the cover was $5. I understand the cover, but $2 just to park in the lot seemed kinda silly.

Through the front door and to the right you'll find the bathrooms. To the left is the main room with two large bars along the right, dance stages in the middle and tables/sofas to the left of the stages. I got to the club around 8:30 ad it was already pretty full. The crowd was a mix of ages with one loud group of dudes in their 20's who were there for a bachelor party. I started the evening sitting at the bar to get a feel for the room and the talent that was on hand. The bar staff was busier than a one handed paper hanger, but was friendly and quick with my drink once they got around to me. A fairly heavy handed vodka tonic set me back $6 before tip, which is damn reasonable in my opinion.

After a couple of drinks at the bar, I spotted an open table near the back wall which put me in a great spot for a few lap dances. The talent was mostly Cuban, mostly blond (weird), mostly tatted, most sporting bolt-ons (top and bottom), and mostly a lot of fun to chat with once you get over the broken English language barrier. When it comes to lap dances I'm partial to little spinner type, but on this particular evening I was feeling adventurous and decided to sample a few of the more buxom chicks. Lap dances are only $10 a song and it's shocking how much contact is allowed/provided especially if you pony up for three to four songs. The only big downside to the lap dances are the near continuous up-selling that you have to deal with. By the third girl I thought it would help if I made it clear at the start of the first dance that I was not into doing a booth. My hope was that she wouldn't bother with all the up-sell nonsense. Word of advice - don't! As soon as she knew there was no chance of getting a booth session outta me she became very quiet and mechanical then dashed off as soon as the song ended.I guess the smart play is to just put up with the up-sell and enjoy the better quality dance. All in all, I enjoyed my evening visit at DD though I'd have to say it was more enjoyable during my daytime visit back in October. The talent level is pretty much the same but the daytime scene is a lot less crowded, a bit more laid back and there's no cover.
