I realize that you can, in fact, wear masks in mexico. So, I checked mine, and off I went. I flew in from the east coast so i had a 5 hr 39 min fight behind me. I wanted to take my carryon on the plane so i could just grab it and be on my way. The tops were full so i had to gate check my bag. Free, but still annoying. When I land I head to the baggage carousel and lo and behold my bag aint there. 10 mins later i see a bag that looks eerily similar to mine on the carousel. Go to the office let em know I can't find my bag, and it might've been picked up by mistake. She calls the guy who owns the bag and this guy comes back apoplogizing. We swap and finally i can head to the 992 bus to downtown. So the 992 is a bus that services downtown. You have to take it to grab the blue line from America Plaza station. Its 1.75 for a single ride but 6 for a day pass. I chose that option, as i would be seeing other things in san diego that day. Since i didnt have whats called a compass card (a card thats used to store your funds for public transpo) you have to pay an extra 2 dollars for your pass.

A few blocks up the road from the bus drop off is a cvs. The girl at the door commented on my star wars shirt and asked if i had seen the latest episode of the Mandalorian. I told her I had not but I would catch up when I got back home to the east coast. She said, wow so far!
