Worth a try
Since the location has changed names several times since it was Babes, I was curious how this new incarnation would look. Not a lot different in my opinion. More lights so it doesn’t look like a cave. Large stage with two poles as you walk in. Long center stage fills most of the room. Small stage at one end. Upper level “VIP” area looks to be mostly light colored couches with some fake plants. Bar runs the length of the lower floor. Several TVs on the wall.
Club has an urban vibe with African American and Latina dancers as well as clientele. Overall the vibe is “party-party.”
There is a menu with burgers, chicken, fries and such. I didn’t try it but there were others having food.
It took awhile for the dancers to break up their socializing at the bar and take to the stage. Two dancers of average build went to the main stage and began their routines. They were joined at the rail by a couple of guys who made it rain quite a bit. The customers were rewarded with quite a show with nothing left to the imagination.
The club, like all clubs in San Antonio, require the entertainer to have their nipples covered. Some opt for tape pasties. Actually, one had blue painter’s tape as a cover. However, some had chosen to use liquid spray to camouflage their supposedly “naughty bits.” This basically looks like no cover at all. I suppose this meets the letter of the law if not the intent since I’ve see it at other clubs in town.
