Simple diversion. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad.

I walked into this familiar club, that I have now visited for 35 years. I don't think the interior has changed one bit over that time. Although, it has recently had some minor exterior renovations to the entrance area.

On this Friday afternoon, I breezed past the area where oftentimes there is a bouncer charging a cover. I sat at the bar and ordered a fairly priced beer. There were eight or ten patrons, and half as many dancers. Most dancers were locked down with a customer drinking and talking. I plopped myself down at the stage, and was entertained by a stick-thin brunette who was above average a showing off her body. Although not my type, I agreed to a few $25 lap dances, which were fun but nothing over the top.

We exchanged numbers, and I got a "hi" text the next day from whatever her name was. My last time here (or second to last time) resulted in pretty much the same thing, and ended with the stripper wanting to go out on the town for some ridiculous fee. I didn't see this time going any differently, so I just kept moving along with life without going down that slope. Mr Happy's was fun, and didn't disappoint, for a minor Friday afternoon diversion.
