Not Quite Bada Bing

Shortly after a stop at nearby AJ's in Secaucus, I decided to see what was going on at Satin Dolls on a cold Monday afternoon. The short answer is that there wasn't all that much happening - the entertainment was barely decent, but the only one who I wanted to do a private dance with was an attractive Colombian brunette named Jennifer. Unfortunately, I was not happy with the experience as the dance was quite tame and there was not nearly much contact as is usually the case. When she asked me if I wanted to do a second dance, I replied no to which she answered "That's too bad, it was going to get better." I think we have all taken the bait before and ended up with nothing more than a lighter wallet so I opted to pass and cut my losses at that point. I would say there were about 7 or 8 girls working at that time, most of whom I would put in the 6-7 range so again not terrible at all, but also far from overly impressive. Within 60 seconds of entering I was already hit up for a private dance by one of the less appealing ones (naturally) so the initial overly aggressive approach kind of set the tone for the remainder of the visit.

I believe this and AJ's are sister clubs and the overall layout and decor are very similar. There is a public lap dance area which is fairly comfortable, but you are inches away from everyone else who is currently partaking in the same experience. Upstairs is the higher priced VIP area where I have heard just about anything goes, but I do not know this for sure firsthand. The ethnicity leans more towards the Hispanic, but there are AA and Caucasian girls sprinkled in for the variety. This place is quite clean and the upkeep is good, but anyone expecting to find the same pleasures as existed in the Soprano's Bada Bing club will most likely be disappointed. Their website is completely useless. There is a link to a dancer schedule, but there is no information at all listed there and, if you call the hotline number they have, all you get is a busy signal or continuous ringing - they might want to think about joining us in the 21st century.
