"Meh" in every sense of the word

Had a little bit of time to kill on a Sunday around 6:00 pm while in the area. I had preferred the club down the street, but thought I would give this place a try. I was surprised to be met by no one at the door. No cover at this time, which is a plus, but I feel like I got what I paid for. Things are a little cramped, but it looks clean and bar is nice. The dancers outnumbered the customers so I got a drink (under $4 for a domestic) and took a seat.

I apparently arrived right before a new shift was coming in, but there were plenty of dancers already taking their turn on stage. Mostly decent, slim white brunettes with a blonde or died hair job thrown in here and there. One looked Hispanic, but she was clearly new as she was getting tutored on the pole from other girls. The dancers kind of ran together as they did technically proficient, uninspired dances. It was a little boring, but I was enjoying a drink without a cover charge and hoping things would pick up. I know one was named Lola, but my memory for their names matches my interest in their dances. I finally tipped one who told me she was tired and danced like she wanted me to believe it! A new slim brunette in some goth fishnet number was about to get another tip from me until she stopped dancing in the middle of her first song and turned her back to the stage so she could talk to the other dancers while she swayed around on stage. Management was clearly not interested in what the dancers were doing, could have just been time of day, but they had already been open for a couple of hours.

Finally a hot Latina came around. Her attitude matched her friends, disinterested but polite, but she was the hottest there so I decided to get a showtime dance with her (2 songs for $40). It met expectations, and I didn't expect things to pick up from there.
