Early Afternoon at Marcet

I decided to try out this place based on a recommendation and reviews. I personally typically go for divey low-key bars rather uppity clubs type places, so Marcet was just was I was looking for. The location is on the corner of a residential street with permit parking after 5pm I believe, but I was there a little after 1pm so I was safe. Parking wasn't too bad, only had about a 2 minute walk from the spot.

Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how all 5 dancers were at the end of the bar, so I sat opposite end just so I could grab a beer before I got myself going. Within 2 minutes, I was served my beer for about $4 and had company from one of the dancers. I was the only patron there, so I could sense the "fresh meat" mentality from all 5 dancers looking my way.

I was lucky enough to be greeted by Kristen. She had on a sexy black outfit and was very friendly off the bat. Normally I wouldn't buy a drink to someone I don't really know too well, but she was friendly enough and I was in a great mood, so I bought her a drink. She and I talked for about 10 minutes before she asked for a dance. Without hesitation, I went back.

She's definitely a keeper with everything on the menu. Got right down to business and was honest about everything. I exchanged numbers and went back to the bar with her after I was done.

A few minutes later, I was alone after one of her regulars walked in. I was disappointed in the lack of girls dancing on stage or anyone else who wanted to come sit next to me. I would come back only for Kristen.
