Not My Kind of Place
I wandered in after work one late afternoon and felt a bit out of place. Most of the dancers are black - attractive (6,7,8) - but not my cup of tea.
The horseshoe shaped bar sits in the middle of the floor. There are a few tables, but I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I didn't wait long before I was approached by one of the dancers. I made small talk for a moment before declining her invitation. My resolve weakened with the second dancer, who was much more handsy. I agreed to a couple dances and bought her the drink the bartender wouldn't serve her. I'm not sure if the have a policy against dancers drinking (if so, not a bad policy) or if she just had a problem.
The dance was okay, nothing special. I apologized to the bartender/bouncer for enabling the dancer - buying some good will. He was cool about it. But I was increasingly uninterested in staying. Plus the music wasn't my type.
