Brief Review of BareFax Club

A little while back a group of friends & I made a club-crawl (ie visited a few clubs in one night). This is a brief review of BareFax. To me the name is sort of ironic - in that BareFax gives you the bare minimum - in my opinion - of what you should expect from a Club of this nature.

Basically you won't be disappointed if you go in with average expectations. The price at BareFax is no better or worse than any of the other clubs in the region - and the atmosphere is alright. If you are looking for a busy / hopping type of atmosphere then Byward Market area will give you that and BareFax is right in the middle of the Market, the main club scene for Ottawa.

Cost wise - the dance price remains the same as it has been for the past 8-10 years - $20. Cover I believe was $5 (didnt need a coat check but usually tip of $2 will suffice) - my friend paid for all of us (we took turns covering the door charge during the crawl).
