Vixens Turned My Evening Around From a Bust to a Win!
It finally happened. After many great visits to Scarlett's in Hallandale, I had a bad visit there (this is NOT a Scarlett's review). I went to Scarlett's early Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m., and the talent there was not moving the needle for me. One girl homed in on me and decided that she was going to lock me down for the evening. She was ok as far as looks, but her dances were just mediocre and she had - not bad breath, but breath that was a little off. I tried to give her some gum when I had a piece, but she declined the offer. Also, she wouldn't fuckin' leave me alone or take the hint that I wanted to sample other girls. When Lockdown Girl was on stage, another girl tried to shake me down for a tip just for sitting with me when I wasn't giving any vibes that I was even remotely interested. After about 1.5 hours, I had had enough, so I bailed and headed to Vixens.
I got to Vixens just before 8:00 p.m., and they were not collecting a cover, which might have hit right at 8:00. In fact, the reception girl was totally MIA, so I just walked right on in unchallenged. Vixens is a large club that pretty much consists of one large open area. I'd say it's a mid to upper tier club, and it's got very high ceilings with lots of night club style lighting and lasers. There is a main stage in the middle of the room with two poles, elevated VIP seating to the right with a pole, and a bar to the back. There is also another VIP area to the left with its own bar and separate stage and pole, but that was curtained off, cutting off maybe about a third of the floor area. Dance areas, champagne rooms, and restrooms are all to the left of the main bar. Dances are done in small 4x4 rooms with mirrors on the wall. The rooms have no doors or curtains. Also, if there are couples that are in a booth across from you, you can see each other getting the dances done pretty clearly, which is kind of weird. There are enough rooms where that shouldn't be a problem when it's not super busy, but there was an occasion when I was there where there were only three couples in the back, and one of them plunked themselves in a booth that was in my direct line-of-site. Luckily, they just did one or two songs and were out quickly.
There were not very many customers when I got there - maybe about 10, and probably about the same amount of girls. There were about two AAs, the rest were Latinas and white girls split about 60/40. The girls ranged from 5.5s to 9s - it was a wide range. The girls would get on stage and do a three song set with the usual clothed, topless, then nude dancing as part of the song progression. The music was just wack on this visit - the DJ couldn't decide if this place was a house/EDM place, a rock place, a grunge place, or what. Pick a style (as long as it's house/EDM) and stick with it man! There were no waitresses on duty yet, and I didn't see any working the floor until maybe around 9:00 p.m. I don't have any information on drink prices on this visit as there were no waitresses around for me to order a drink, and I didn't feel like flagging down the bartender. More girls came in throughout the evening, and there must have been more than 20-25 girls by 10:00 p.m. as none of the girls seemed to repeat on stage after a while. The number of customers there only increased moderately by the time I left a little after 10:00 - it was not crowded by any stretch.
