A little while back a group of friends & I made a club-crawl (ie visited a few clubs in one night). This is a brief review of BareFax. To me the name is sort of ironic - in that BareFax gives you the bare minimum - in my opinion - of what you should expect from a Club of this nature.
Basically you won't be disappointed if you go in with average expectations. The price at BareFax is no better or worse than any of the other clubs in the region - and the atmosphere is alright. If you are looking for a busy/hopping type of atmosphere then Byward Market area will give you that and BareFax is right in the middle of the Market.
I will be honest and admit I wasnt really counting the # of dancers - so it could have been more than 10 - no doubt some where in the VIP rooms and/or their private area. I was neither disappointed nor blown away by the quality of the women who dance there.
One thing I definitely recall while we were there was that there was a bachelor party going on and the requisite 'punish' the bachelor dance was fun to watch. The dancers involved certainly seemed into it.
All in all, like mentioned, the club is average for the area. I doubt you'll be disappointed but it can be hit or miss if you go at the wrong time and some dancers do tend to move from locale to locale. I still prefer it to Pigales.
