oasis on friday afternoon

The last time I reviewed Oasis it had just changed ownership to the group that manages Cheerleaders. A few months later and there are a few noticeable changes, some construction projects to refresh the interior and a price increase for the Champagne court dances. The 15 minute court price increased from $140 to $160, still includes a drink for each participant. The area for courts has been expanded to the old VIP section that overlooks the bar, at least during the day. All the dancers I spoke with seemed happy with the new management.

There is still a contingent of brazillian dancer/refugees from Playhouse Lounge making daytime at Oasis a good option (Mainly Leah since Erica is back at PH, Lena is at Red Raven, Talita is pregnant, but there are still a couple other brazillians there).

This particular visit was almost an exact copy of my last visit -- a few warmup dances with Mercedes (thin, energetic, puerta rican) the $20 room, followed by a 15 minute court with Sassy (more subdued sexy latina with lots of ink). Both are recommended. I've never tried a court with Mercedes, but she made a point to tell me how well her tongue stud worked as we were finishing our dance. She however declined to demonstrate... :(
