The Godfather is Muerta

I saw that the Godfather Club on Sepulveda in Van Nuys was closed and apparently for good, as another business had converted and taken over the building leave no trace of strip club behind. I only hope some movie studio got the brothel-red velveteen décor from that place. I had some good times there with Crystal and Ardyce, but that was many moons ago and the place was always a shithole. As a "wake" for the dump, and because I saw a recent review on-line, I decided to try the sister club Godfather Canoga Park. Turned out to have been an error in judgment.

Odd location in the middle of a busy block of business, with no parking lot. Had to park on street and walk a block before entry. Walked in at 2 PM and there was not a soul in the place. A small round dance stage maybe 8-9 feet in diameter was right in front of the entry door; not sure but don't think there was even a pole on it. Lots of seats at stage and tables/chairs booths around it, all with the classic dive strip club look of lots of leatherette, cloth and brads. Room is probably just 20' across but very deep. Bench for regular lap dances against east wall, VIP booths (just 2/3 high dividers, no curtains) in back. Eventually an older man came out of the back and said sorry just have one "Spanish lady" and there'll be no others until like 5 pm. I say can I see her and he says sure and that it will be $10 for entry and drink if I'm going to stay. At least he gave me the choice. Dances were $20 laps and $99 VIP for 10 minutes.

The "lady" was older (at least 40) but had a decent MILFy body with small ass and big boobs, although she had a little thickness in the middle she was hiding with one of those midriff cover outfits. Face was pretty rough, she was probably pretty when younger. Spoke a little English but not much, yet made clear that services would be provided for a nominal tip in the VIP. I was uncomfortable walking out of there as they were both being very accommodating so I took her up. Got right to work, no sensuality at all but performed the tasks promptly and with feigned enthusiasm. Got off and out of there for $160 all in, but not proud of that at all. One of those places and experiences that make you question whether strip clubs are worth the effort and money, and provides no fodder for fooling yourself that they are (as do so many other clubs). Can't recommend this club as a day shift destination, I'm afraid.
