Bachelor Party

A large group of us headed to Austin for a friend’s bachelor party and our itinerary had the Yellow Rose on it for every day. We managed to get there twice (the first and last day of the trip). The fact that we were able to get there twice shows you how much fun we had.

First the layout: Stages and bars on either side of you when you walk in with the right being raised higher. A bar in the back with a sort of outdoor area behind the back bar. Don’t make the mistake of sitting at the table near the stage like we did (you have to pay to sit there). Instead go sit toward the back in a spinning chair or up at the bar. The three bar spread is nice as you can get drinks fairly quickly even when it’s crowded. The higher level stage has a group of couches for dances to the right of it with 0 privacy whatsoever. If you want privacy you have to spend a lot more.

The girls were incredibly friendly mostly due to the lack of customers and surplus of girls at exactly midnight. A few of them wanting to just hang out and show themselves off every now and again for a few bucks which is fine. Sitting at the bar are a few of the “higher end” girls. They only do VIPs and they have varying rates which seemed to be $1500/hhr or higher which was not ideal.
