First off, was very annoyed that two kids with squeegees were blocking the driveway. Reminded me of NYC in the 80s before Giullani got these guys off the street. I rolled by several weeks ago on another occassion and there were two guys in hooded sweatshirts smoking their cigarettes in the driveway - so i proceeded to js. I'm not sure if management is aware...but they're probably losing a bunch of folks because people just don't want to deal with this nonsense. And you can't billyourself as a premium club when you have that "element" hanging out in front. This by the way is a new development because i don't ever recall this in front of BE.
Second, I arrived at 5pm and all i saw were dancers leaving - but there must have been 6-12 PLs seated. noone was managing the cash wrap. i did pay 5 bukcs to park. I paid 6 bucks to get in and noone was on stage. Noone came to get me a drink and the tables were filthy. Total disaster. There were maybe four girls i could see and they were all sitting in corners checking their i-phones. seriously - what's going on here? why aren't any of them dancing? why isn't anyone scheduled when they have patrons? so i left. bottom line is - day shift is pretty much gonzo by 5pm - and from past visits night shift really doesn't get going until about 9:30 - 10 at the earliest. But what is most staggering is mgmt just doesn't give a sh*t. i wish i had more to report...but this visit to BE sucked. don't get me wrong - this is typically one of my favorite places anywhere. but timing is everything. and wtf is up with the squeegee kids? maybe others have something to report as well that this place has slipped big time? lesson learned for 11 bucks.
