Taken advantage of

This place can just be so hit or miss. This visit was such a big miss that it will be a good while before I head back. Stopped in on a Monday night around 10. Club Bristol was medium busy. Probably three different groups of four or five guys and a couple of single guys and maybe five dancers. I paid the 7 buck cover and was glad I was there before midnight because there was a new sign that said effective this month the cover is now 20 bucks after midnight. I’ll for sure never come after midnight. I’m guessing the increased late night cover is to keep the increasing troublemakers that seem to have been hanging around in my recent stops.

I walked to the bar and grabbed a decent priced beer from the pretty bartender and was instantly approached by a middleaged brunette woman with a big chest who I haven’t seen before who asked for a drink. Knowing the drinks are 10 bucks or more I said I’d rather buy a dance. She said why don’t we make it two to have more fun. I don’t know why we ever glfall for that. It is never more fun. I paid my 40 bucks and get to the back and she sits on my lap in the middle of a song and says here we go. And that’s all she did for a song and a half. Then she said we’re done. I was pretty upset but I had driven all the way out here and figured I had just landed on a dud.

So I went out to the bar to see what else was up. 15 minutes later one of the other dancers walks up. She was a taller girl and really pretty. She was also really friendly and I thought this will make up for it. So I ask for a dance and we head back where she says I love this song and need to dance for you to it. Even though the song was more than half done. A minute later she gets up and says “thanks doll.” Then when I say that’s it? She says “a song’s a song. Now why don’t you give me a tip.” When I refused she got mean and aggressive to the point that I actually got a bit scared. So I pulled a 5 dollar bill from my pocket handed it to her just to distract her. She got even more mad and said no one tips her that little. I finally had to just push my way past her and high tailed it out of there. If this is the way this club is going to become it will take a lot of desperation to get me back.
