About as cold and unsexy as a strip club gets

It's been many years since I visited this club and it will be many years before I return. I'll have to see a lot of reviews here saying things have changed and it's no longer a cold, impersonal place with just a few girls working, none of whom look like they want to be there. It wasn't so much their looks that bothered me, though no one struck me as a great beauty. Maybe if they smiled or didn't just stare at their phones, it would help.

The problem was the mood of the place and also the long stretches between girls on stage. I think there were seven girls working and two of them were sitting with other customers (probably regulars) the entire time we were there. A friend had dragged me there and he paid so I'm not sure what the door charge was but I think I heard $15. We had no trouble finding street parking which should have tipped us off.

Girls sat around staring at phones and then wandering into the dressing room. The only one who might have interested me, I only saw from a distance. I was waiting for the drink server to come by and I was going to tip her to bring the lady over but instead the lady headed into the back and I never saw her again. It took a while before I saw the drink server again, too. My friend kept apologizing for bringing us there and we finally split after about a half hour, mostly spent staring at an empty stage.
