First Seattle experience

I was in town for work and decided to check out what the Seattle scene was like. An early warning for any non-locals, there is no alcohol allowed in Seattle clubs! Although after chatting with some of the dancers it seems they might look the other way if you sneak some in and are discreet about it. They’ll probably kick you out if management catches you though. Luckily Dreamgirls is a block away from a bar so I just went in for a shot and a beer before hitting the club.

This club is right on a main strip where the stadiums are so it’s pretty well lit, but not a lot of people around when there’s not a sporting event for those who want to be discreet. The club also has a front and back entrance. Once inside the cover is $22 and they did not give me a drink voucher or anything. There’s also an online offer for $10 off the cover fee although you have to give them your email to get it.

Inside the club there’s an average sized main room with a center stage with a tall pole. Most of the seating was comfy chairs around this stage, and there’s a “bar” in the corner. There was also a side room that was mostly empty when I was there. There were 5-10 patrons that I could see, and the dancers outnumbered us. The dancers were mostly 6s and 7s with a couple 9s. Most had tattoos although not as many as I saw when I was in Portland. Most of the girls were white some possibly mixed ethnicity. The girls seemed very friendly. Almost immediately after entering one walked up to me and started chatting while taking me to one of the chairs around the strange and sitting on my lap. There wasn’t any immediate pressure to pay for a dance or tip which was nice. Although once the girl claims you like that it’s hard to browse the other girls to find one you like.
