What The Hell Is A Spearmint Rhino, Anyway?
Spearmint Rhino is downtown within easy walking distance of many hotels, restaurant, and bars. The cover charge was $10, collected by a large guy in a suit with a wire in his ear.
The club is upscale and well appointed. It’s long and narrow—probably only about 30 feet wide, but four of five time that deep. There is a small stage immediately next to the entrance, a small bar just past that, then the main stage. There are tables clustered around the main stage, and then toward the back a row of what looked like lap dance booths. At the back is staircase that leads down to the restrooms and a VIP area. There is also an upstairs loft area toward the back, but I didn't go up there, and I didn't see anyone else go up there either.
A domestic beer was $8.25. I bought a mixed drink for a dancer for about $11. I arrived late, around 1:00 a.m. There was a dancer review soon after I arrived. I counted 18 dancers on stage, most very good looking, of varying body types, from slender spinners to curvy MILFs. They were mostly white, but I counted three AAs.
