Save your money unless your jetlagged and bored

I was jetlagged in Munich and wandered out of my hotel to find a number of adult entertainment options. The streets near the train station have many so called strip clubs, but they are not exactly what you'd expect coming from the U.S. walking down the street you pass a number of doorways with women standing at the door calling at men to come in. I'm not sure if it's because it was a Sunday but peering in the places all looked pretty empty (and also pretty dark and unappealing). For the most part the offers from these women was to pay them 50 euro to have a drink with them and "trust them it will be worth your while". No thanks. I decided to finally wander into the place that looked the most recognizable as a normal strip club which was Madame cabaret. There also I was escorted in by a more attractive woman who was fishing for guys off the street. There were a handful of decent women in the room a few dancing. I bought a drink and watched the show. It was pretty boring. Mostly it seemed to be a venue where girls work the floor trying to get you to buy drinks for the minimum possible in return. I was not persuaded and left after about 30 min. Probably dropped about 50 euros including drinks. At best the experience was a curious way to kill jetlagged time. On a normal day it would just be boring. However Munich didn't strike me as a good strip club city. The adult industry seems to be more about brothels there--but I did not wander past one of those.
