Hoops - Good Mix of Sports Bar & Strip Club

Hoops is a combination sports bar & strip club. It's located next to it's sister club Rick's near the Garden/Penn Station. The place is clean and upscale and if you look close the decor has lots of cool sports bar touches such as the bar sits on "lockers", the main state looks like a basketball hoop and the floor looks like a basketball court. The place was well lit for a strip club.

Stopped by recently on a Friday to watch a hockey game and enjoy the scenery. The girls were mostly pretty hot and were friendly but not overly pushy. The girls were a mix of Eastern European women, South American women and some all American girls. I sat and chatted with one black girl who was a hockey fan and told her I would do a couple dances during the intermission or after the game and she was cool with that.

Prices here were pretty average for mid-town NYC strip clubs. The cover was $20 but I printed a free admission coupon in advance from the company website so I got in for free. Drinks were about $10 and the dances were typical $20. At least two girls mentioned the VIP room to me but I wasn't interested so no idea what they were charging. I even tried a hamburger here which was about $15 and actually really good.
