Lost my money at Rick’s

Rick’s has the benefit of location for out of state travelers. It is in the middle of downtown and near the convention center hotels. As a result of the location, it is safe although there are lots of homeless around. The club is next to other bars and people sitting outside at the other bars love to gawk at who is entering the club. The inside is very nice and typical men’s club feel. The main area has several tables in front of the stage. When i was there, there were about 10 girls working. Most were 5s or less. Most were also fairly pushy. It is hard to just sit back and relax at this club because you will be approached all the time and multiple times — especially on slow nights. There was a good racial diversity. The lap dance rooms are in the back and then there are VIP in the back and Uber-VIP downstairs. The VIP is outrageously expensive. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but they want about $200 for a bottle, $300 for the room, and then another $300 for the dancer for 30 min. A friend of mine splurged and took a Brazilian girl back there and lost that $800. The girl then tried to get another girl involved and spent most of the time hustling him for more money and to go to the next VIP room. Clubs make money by these tactics and Rick’s is a pro at it. So, you leave unsatisfied and broke.
