New Beginnings

As many others have mentioned, if you're from out of town, it's best to drive yourself than to take a taxi or rideshare. As I entered the club, there were a couple of "bros" paying for admission. The bouncer asked them how they arrived and they responded, "Uber." The bouncer told them it was $30 each and to pay the girl at the window. As soon as they entered the club, I presented my ID and when asked, presented my rental car keys and told him I drove myself. He told me to pay the girl $10 for out-of-state admission.

Walked in and headed straight to the bar. For those requiring club details, this club is two stories with the bathrooms right past the entrance and a stairway on the left leading to the upstairs bar area and VIP. If you continue straight on the main floor, you walk right up to the main stage. To the left of that is a bunch of hightops and the main bar. I found a space there and ordered a mixed drink ($9 for a Jack and Coke). The bartender (Madison) is super cool and very pretty! She was busy all night, but very attentive.

In most clubs, sitting at the bar would be declared as a "safe zone" and limit the amount of visits from dancers, however, this time I was approached one after another by dancers looking to strike up a conversation. I came to visit with a specific dancer in mind, but hadn't seen her, yet. One by one, I declined their advances for company until I decided to ask about the dancer I had hoped to visit. Was told she no longer works at Palomino, so needed to find a new dancer to spend my money on.
