Hey, where is everybody?

Bottoms Up in general: Pretty clean, always friendly, usually fun enough to hang around for an hour or two. If I get there, it’s almost always during the daytime, so I don’t have much of a sense of how it is at night. The very few night visits I’ve done have been disappointing. Not enough dancers or not very hot ones. The day crew, which has hardly changed at all in the last five years or more, is hardly ever a total bust. But they have to BE there to make the whole thing work.

Everybody wants to get you upstairs to the private area, which is private in the sense that you can’t see the cameras very well. Plan to behave yourself up there, because if things get frisky, you’ll get a visit from the contact cops. Then your dancer will … um … suggest … that if YOU give the bartender $20 in “sorry about that” money the DANCER won’t get in trouble. Been there, done that, and it pissed me off enough that I didn’t go back for a while.

But why dwell on the bad times? Most of the times at Bottoms Up are good. Even my most recent visit wasn’t a total waste.

I dropped in Saturday at noon, so about a half hour after opening. For a while, it was just me and the bartender, who was nice enough to strip down and give me a couple of pretty good dances. The first dancer rolled in about 12:15 or so, and I had her all to myself for as long as I wanted, because I was still the only customer in the joint. Didn’t go upstairs, because I had been up with her before and I was really hoping to connect with another girl I saw the last time I had been in. The bartender didn’t know if she was coming in that day and I didn’t want to sit there and just hope more girls would come in before I ran out of time to waste, so I headed on down the road to C.W.s, which will be its own report.
