There’s some potential here now, but it will cost a little more

I made a rare appearance here after learning a longtime favorite would be working that day. Oasis is located in a very safe area, and when you walk in it’s one big, open, well-lit room. For those of us that are used to seediness of Follies, walking into Oasis almost feels like going into a daycare or public library. Floor mileage here doesn’t exist—the issues this club has been having with the city of Doraville pretty much eliminates any out-in-the-open fun. The girls still get totally nude on stage but offstage they all walk around in little lingerie gowns.

The talent level on the day I went actually wasn’t too bad. They have a few ex-Follies and ex-Tattletales girls working there. VIP rooms here are pretty private, and YMMV depending on the girl. My friend was busy when I got there so I spent some time with a very pretty, busty blonde that used to work at Tattletales. She was good company but said she only does VIPs. That’s pretty much the business model at Tattletales but I don’t know how well it will work at Oasis day shift.

All in all this place is still no competition for nearby Follies. But for those that prefer a “safer” atmosphere, majority white girls, tamer music and don’t mind spending a little extra then Oasis can be a solid alternative. Just don’t expect much on-the-floor action. Be ready to take it to VIP and risk a couple duds before you find your keeper.
