my ambivalence about this fine venue of premium pussy has run long and deep. it's a discreet and comfortable destination even at an hour's distance-the same drive would give me multiple choices in philly but entering and navigating that shooting gallery has become a hill too far over time. so DDTR (this one's in tom's river-there are two or three more remote locations) is practically the last joint in my rotation, but half the time i go to all the trouble to visit-escaping the ball and chain, choosing attire, packing drinks (it's BYOB), snacks, and all desirable and appropriate medications, fill the tank, hit the ATM etc etc-I take one look inside and deal with the thick necked goon manning the door, turn around and walk out. yes, it has it's older and chunkier specimens, but the majority of entertainers are jazzy young suicide type gurls that water your mouth and stiffen your old, tired member.
prob is, it's generally (sometimes ridiculously) overpriced and staffed by brain dead 'management' with all the business savy of john gotti and people skills of Pol Pot...was suckered in tonite on the basis of their costumed 'halloween extravaganza' featuring twenty dancers and reduced VIPs- possibly even grease laden meatballs on a poker table in the corner...instead at @ 8pm i entered and espied a grand total of two jackalopes in attendance and a pudgy blonde lying on stage chatting up one over their eternally long tweny minute sets...stone cold dead and empty...the 300 lb block of ignorance behind the entrance podium neither said nor asked for anything when i entered, just standing there sizing up his massive indifference...at long last he muttered 'twenty five dollars'...(normal w/e cover-this was thursday)...you'll pay another nickle for a mandatory water even if you BYO...'how come it's so much?'...'party tonite'...nary another custie, dancer or costume in sight...anywhere...stone, cold, dead...like the pit in my stomach everytime i drive up here, as i must, over and over and over...maybe next time...i'll stay...
