Chill Destination / Becoming More and More Fun on Friday and Saturday Nights

Lace is becoming more and more enjoyable on Friday and Saturday nights. Note that if you approach from the North (driving South) you can't turn directly into the club because Rt. 303 is a divided highway. Most people make a right at the intersection down the road, which leads to a FedEx facility, and make a U-turn somewhere on that road and then come back out to Rt. 303 and drive north to Lace. On a Friday night when you walk in, there is a decent, but not huge crowd (plenty of available seats at the bar) and about 15 plus dancers working. They are a mixture of Latina, Eastern European, and local girls. It's a pretty hot and sexy group of women. The club has been recently renovated and now in addition to the stage behind the bar, there's a platform stage leading to the back, where you can sit right next to the dancing and have more tipping and interaction. This is an alcohol-serving topless bar, so dancers always wear bottoms. Lap dances are still $ 20, even as some other clubs in the area have unfortunately increased to $ 25 (I think the clubs that charge the higher $ 25 rate actually deter customers, deter tipping, and cause the dancers to end up making less money). Lap dances take place on a couch that runs along a wall that's on your right-hand side as you walk into the club. Mileage is reasonably good! Songs are regular-length and not unduly shortened by the DJ. The atmosphere at the club is relaxed, with dancers stopping to chat and ask you to buy dances, but not being pushy in the least. Drinks are inexpensive for a strip club. The staff are generally chill and relaxed. The only problem with Lace is that a lot of the time when you come in, it's surprisingly dead . . . . although this is becoming less and less likely on Friday nights. Therefore, it's becoming an increasingly fun, albeit chill, destination. If management just keeps a steady hand on the tiller and stays the course, it will probably grow in popularity.
