As anyone can see from my reviews, the Horse is pretty much my home club, both for convenience factors (I live 10 minutes away) and I just like it there. That said, I went last Friday night with a group of friends and it was a total shit show.
The talent was way below their usual standards, particularly for a Friday night. I didn't see a lot of familiar faces, so I'm guessing that some of the better ones are taking residence in a warmer climate for winter or are being poached by the downtown clubs. I have to say I was really disappointed. Additionally, there were a noticeable lack of girls on the floor. A couple of them were sitting with regulars, which is to be expected but some of the others were not to be found. I went outside to the patio and several of them were just sitting back there shooting the shit and smoking. They didn't seem interested in working the floor at all.
Finally, it took way to long to get a drink. For what we pay for booze at a club, they should be all over it. However, at least this Friday, the cocktail waitresses were awful.
Now, they may have just had a bad night, but they need to get their shit together, hire some better engaged talent and get back to the level of service they usually have.
