I parked on 54th Street within sight of the front door to Outer Space. Sharif (owner of La Pearl: the downstairs club) was sitting outside enjoying the nice day, he welcomed me, and his security dude patted me down there on the sidewalk. I gave the security guy the $10 cover charge and walked in.

Star was working as bartender and she was wearing some tight pants, and she looked better than I ever remember. Maybe I have never seen her in such tight clothing. Maybe she has lost some weight. She grabbed me a beer for $3 or $4.

There were at least 6 girls on the first floor, most of them dancing on a gentleman's lap. There was no seating towards the back end of the bar, which has a little more privacy, so I went upstairs to check out the scene there.
