Xpose it's a bar

This review is based on 3 trips to Xpose over about a month, all were after 10pm on a weekend.

There is a small parking lot (maybe 10 spaces) in front of the building right off of a busy street, most of the nearby businesses are car dealerships. The building looks to be in fairly good shape although it does appear to be older. On my trip I’ve always been able to park in the parking lot.

There is a cover charge, I was charge $10 each time. Once I was told it was because of a guest DJ, the other times there was no explanation given why it was $10. I think that is the normal cover charge, for most. More on that later. On all 3 trips the club seemed fairly empty, a couple regulars sitting at the bar, a group of 3-4 at a table, and maybe 2-3 guys at the stage. The club is not very deep, but is quite wide. When you first come in and pay your cover you are maybe 5-10 feet from the bar that extends to the right. There are also video poker machines right and left of the entrance. The stages are to the left of the entrance against the back wall, I only saw one of the stages in use while I was there. The LD area is also to the left of the entrance and against the front wall, there are 4-5 areas sectioned off by sheer curtains. There are also a few tables between the LD area and the stages. The stages are like nothing I’ve ever seen, they are just sectioned off part of the floor with a pole in the center. They are surrounded by couches or plush chairs. Nice change from the typical old school chairs. The DJ booth is all the way at the left end of the club.

Each time I was there I saw about 8-12 girls working, all ok looking 5-8 range. I would say a 50/25/25 split between white/Hispanic/AA. Although the trips were close together, I only saw 2 or 3 girls more than once. Most didn’t put in much effort on the stage. There were a couple exceptions, but nothing to write home about.

I hung out at the bar for a while to get the feel for the club and had a couple drinks. Prices were normal for a Portland SC. I had a few girls approach me, seemed to be looking for drinks more than dances. Each trip I spent some time at the stage, as I mentioned before the girls don’t put in much effort. Once I sat there with another customer for a good 5 minutes before another girl came to stage.
